A clear picture of the safeguards your business depends on

The checkup covers the areas where small businesses most often have gaps, and it produces something you can act on: a prioritized list in plain language. The exact systems and access are confirmed with you before the review starts.

Account-security review

Review account access, administrative roles, password practices, recovery details, and obvious configuration concerns.

MFA review

Check whether multi-factor authentication is available and properly enabled on the business accounts that matter.

Device-security basics

Review updates, sign-in, screen lock, protection software, and user-account basics on the computers and devices in scope.

Router and network configuration

Review the router administration and network settings that are accessible during the engagement.

Backup-status review

Check whether your important business data actually has a backup process, and whether its current status can be confirmed.

Email-security basics

Review MFA, account access, recovery options, and the other basic email-security settings your platform supports.

Prioritized recommendations

A written list of practical next steps, ordered so the most important items are easy to tackle first.

English or Spanish

The review and the recommendations can be delivered in whichever language your business prefers.

A clearly bounded engagement

The written scope names the accounts, devices, router, email, and backup areas included, so nothing is ambiguous.

Most small-business risk comes down to a few unglamorous settings

A shared password, an admin account with no second factor, a backup nobody has checked in a year, a router still using the installer's defaults. These are the things that actually cost small businesses money, and they are all fixable.

Atlas has experience supporting technology in healthcare environments where privacy and security mattered, and brings that same practical attention to a shop, office, or clinic.

You get the written recommendations either way. Fix them yourself, hand them to your current provider, or have Atlas quote the work separately.

A straightforward review with a clear written result

Identify the accounts, devices, router, email platform, and backup process to be reviewed.

Document observations

Record the relevant settings, gaps, and anything that could not be confirmed within scope.

Prioritize recommendations

Organize the next steps so the business can address the most important items first.

Choose next steps

Handle the recommendations internally, hire Atlas for separately quoted work, or use another provider.

What exactly do I get at the end?

A written list of observations and recommended next steps, ordered by priority, in English or Spanish. It is yours to keep and act on however you choose.

Is this penetration testing?

No. This is a practical review of essential settings and status, not penetration testing or formal vulnerability scanning.

Does the checkup guarantee my business is secure?

No review can guarantee complete security. Atlas provides prioritized observations and recommendations within the agreed scope.

Is this a compliance or HIPAA certification?

No. The checkup is not a compliance certification and does not certify compliance with any regulation.

Does the $250 price include fixing every recommendation?

No. The price covers the checkup and the written recommendations. Remediation work and third-party costs are quoted separately.

Can the recommendations be provided in Spanish?

Yes. Atlas can deliver the review and recommendations in English or Spanish.

Find out what to fix first

Tell Atlas which accounts, devices, email platform, router, and backup process your business uses. The engagement is scoped before the review begins.
