Email spoofing and fake invoices
Scammers send emails that look like they're from you or a vendor, asking someone to pay a new invoice or change bank details. We check your SPF, DKIM and DMARC: three settings that tell other email servers which messages really come from you.
Computers
Updates put off for months, no screen lock, everyone signed in as administrator, antivirus that quietly expired. We check the basics on each computer included in the checkup.
Wi-Fi and router
Many routers still use the password from the sticker, and guests often share a network with the card reader. We review your router settings and how your networks are separated.

Is this a penetration test?
No. In a penetration test, specialists try to break in on purpose. The checkup is a practical review of the everyday settings that protect a small business, which is where many real problems start.
Is this a HIPAA or compliance certification?
No. The checkup doesn't certify compliance with HIPAA or any other regulation. It helps you spot everyday gaps, but a formal compliance assessment needs a specialist.
Does the $349 include fixing everything?
No. The $349 covers the checkup and your written report. Fixes get a flat quote first, or you can handle them yourself. Common ones have set prices, like email spoofing protection for $149. Software and equipment are billed at cost.
Will you need access to my accounts?
Only to the ones we agree on, and only with your permission. Before we start, we confirm exactly which accounts, computers and devices are included. Parts of the checkup can often be done remotely.
Can I get the report in Spanish?
Yes. The checkup, the conversation and the written report can all be in English or Spanish, whichever your team prefers.
